Managing your game server in the panel

You manage your game servers and apps in the Pterodactyl panel at panel.holzmodem.de. Sign in with your Holzmodem account.

Start and stop the server#

Open your server from the overview. Start, Restart and Stop control it; the console shows live what the server is doing.

Files and mods#

In the file manager you upload worlds, mods, plugins and config files or edit them right in the browser. For bigger uploads use SFTP – the connection details are in your server's settings.

Warning

Stop the server before replacing worlds or removing mods. Back up important files first.

Switch versions (Minecraft)#

For Minecraft you choose server software and version in the panel. The default is Paper; after switching, the server starts on the new version.

Invite friends#

Give your fellow players your server address – IP and port from the panel or your subdomain under holzmodem.com.

Problems?#

Check the console for error messages and our status page first. If that does not help, open a ticket with the server name and the error message.
